I am Laura, owner of The Greenhouse Cakerie in Northampton.

I specialise in designing elegant and contemporary wedding cakes that taste every bit as good as they look. Each cake is created to feel personal to you and to take its place as a beautiful centrepiece for your day.

Working closely with couples and venues across Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties, I combine thoughtful design with carefully balanced flavours to create cakes that feel considered, refined and memorable.

From your initial tasting through to delivery and set-up at your venue, I provide a calm and professional service, ensuring your cake is not only beautifully finished, but perfectly presented.

Meet Laura

The Greenhouse Cakerie was established in 2018 and has grown steadily over the years into a trusted name for bespoke wedding cakes across Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties.

Whilst I didn’t set out to become a cake maker, it was through baking that I discovered how much I enjoy the creative side of designing and refining each cake. Over time, what began as a hobby, making cakes for family and friends, developed into a business that I am incredibly proud of.

Today, I specialise in elegant, contemporary wedding cakes, working closely with each couple to ensure their cake feels in keeping with their day, both in design and flavour. Much of my work now comes through recommendations and venue referrals, which I feel reflects the care and attention I give to every order.

I oversee each stage of the process myself, from consultation through to delivery and set-up, taking a thoughtful and detail-focused approach throughout.

The Greenhouse Cakerie is registered with Northamptonshire Local Authority, holds a 5* Food Hygiene rating, and I am fully insured with a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
